Privacy Policy
Who we are
PetRelay (“the app”) is an independent pet-care collaboration tool built and run by a solo developer. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.
What we collect
- Account info — the email and display name you provide when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email. We don’t collect passwords (your sign-in provider handles that).
- Care data — the families, pets, schedules, check-ins, weights, photos, and notes you create, used to run the app’s core features.
- Push token — used to send care reminders. You can turn off notifications in your system settings.
- Subscription status — whether your subscription is active, via Apple’s App Store and RevenueCat. We never see your card or payment details.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal data.
- We don’t use your data for cross-app advertising or tracking.
- We don’t collect precise location, your contacts, or anything beyond what the features need.
How data is processed and shared
We use the following providers, and share data only as needed to run the service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- RevenueCat and Apple — subscription status and payment processing.
- Apple Push / Expo — delivering push notifications.
Family members you invite can see the pets and care records within the same family — that’s the nature of the collaboration feature.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete your account or ask us to remove it. You can delete your account and its data anytime from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or email us.
If you are the family owner, deleting your account also removes the family’s shared records. You can export your own care records as CSV in the app at any time.
Children
The app isn’t designed for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
